Step back in time in an authentic 60 year old hand hewn log cabin located on 1.5 acres on a great fishing lake that has no public access. The property has 300 feet of lake frontage with a secluded sandy swimming beach and dock.
This log cabin gives a unique vacation experience of listening to loon calls and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Cabin includes a kitchen complete with dishes, cooking utensils, coffee maker, pizza oven, and microwave. Bed linens are supplied. Please bring your own towels. The rental includes two kayaks, a canoe, a 14 foot fishing boat, two bicycles, a charcoal grill and a campfire ring in the yard.
Rates are $125/night plus tax with a 3 night minimum, or $800/week, plus tax, Saturday to Saturday.
Besides fishing or swimming at Spider Lake, activities within a one hour drive are as varied as white water kayaking, golfing, hiking, biking, Big Top Chautauqua entertainment, shopping, dining and even blueberry picking.
There is no WIFI in the cabin. WIFI is available at the Iron River library 24/7. The cabin has cell service for AT&T and Verizon.
This cabin is handicap accessible. Sorry no smoking is allowed and also no pets.
